Catch classic Aussie films in the Perth Cultural Centre

Some of the most loved Australian films are going to be playing on the big screen in the Perth Cultural Centre in coming weeks and you can watch them for free.

Camp classic Muriel’s Wedding will open the season on Thursday 15th Mach followed by Western Australian film Bran Nue Dae on Sunday 18th March.

Next week catch The Castle on Thursday 22nd March, followed by 1980’s favourite Young Einstein on the Sunday night.

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert will be on Thursday 29th March, and Paul Hogan will utter his famous line “That’s not a knife” on Sunday 1st April.

The season will end with Baz Luhrmann’s debut feature Strictly Ballroom on 5th April April and another great Western Australian Red Dog on Sunday 8th April.

The Thursday night screenings will be at 8pm, while the Sunday night screenings will be an hour earlier at 7pm.
