Many of the actors from the popular series are back for the second season including Ricky Whittle who plays Shadow Moon and Ian McShane who is Mr Wednesday.

The first season of the show, which focuses on a battle between old Gods and new Gods was praised for the performances of the actors and it’s stylish cinematography. Fans of the books also applauded the show for not toning down the graphic gay sex scenes.

The clip also gives viewers their first look at The House on the Rock, a meeting place for the Gods in the show. The setting is one of the most talked about parts of the graphic novel.

The second series of the show will be available via Amazon Prime Video in 2019.

Excitement is also currently building for the Amazon Prime Original series Good Omens, based on the hugely-popular novel written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, which will launch on Amazon Prime Video around the world in 2019.

The first season of American Gods can be watched now on Amazon Prime Video and is also available on DVD.
