The band will be here on the weekend of June 8th and 9th for two live shows which will seeing them playing some rarely performed songs from their early career.

Pseudo Echo formed in the early 1980’s and from the start, quickly established themselves as a household name becoming one of the most influential bands in the country.

They got the nation’s attention when they appeared on Countdown performing Listening.

Soon they were filling the charts with hits from their debut album Autumnal Park including Beat for You and Stranger in Me. They were also filling the bedroom walls teenagers who pulled out posters from Smash Hits magazine, because they were very pretty too.

Their second album spawned the incredibly catchy Don’t Gowhich they followed up with Living in a Dream and the album’s title track Love An Adventure.

The band are remembered for their take on the Lips Inc disco tune Funky Town, which became a world wide smash, but their own songs were quintessential 80’s electro-pop.

The band supported Culture Club when they played at the Fremantle Arts Centre back in 2016, and we got see first hand how amazing they are live.

Pseudo Echo are playing the Northshore Tavern at Hillarys on Saturday 8th June, and The Charles Hotel on Sunday 9th June. Get tickets from ticketmaster.com.au
