This year Margie Fischer who will be the MC and Quizmaster for the evening. Margie will be resplendent in one of her many Lurex outfits and her Captain’s hat as she steers you through round after round of hilarious quiz questions.

“Nothing gets me more excited than an opportunity to don one of my Lurex jump-suits, especially for such an important event like Quiz,” Fischer said.

Not only is Margie Fischer the glamourous and luxed-up-in-Lurex host for the fundraiser, she is Feast’s Producer and a founding member of Feast Festival back in the 90s.

“We’ve come a long way since those early days but South Australia and Australia still needs to celebrate queer arts and culture, and the community needs to celebrate it. 2017 might have been the momentous year of the YES vote for marriage equality but there’s still work to do.

“Showcasing queer Art and culture and providing an opportunity for the LGBTIQ+ community to celebrate is as relevant today as it was 22 years ago,” Fischer said.

Quiz goers will be challenged and entertained by questions in a variety of categories including art, culture, sport, music plus some queer arts inspired categories so make sure you know all there is to know about famous same sex couples and not necessarily the humankind.

There are fun games played throughout the night where participants can win prizes including a prize for the “Best Supper”.

Rounding out the evening is the Live Auction; an exciting and exhilarating moment where punters can go head to head to bid on their favourite auction items.

This year Feast partner Channel 9 have donated a money can’t buy experience with 5 tickets to The Credit Union Christmas Pageant which is the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, Hit 107 has also kindly donated a breakfast with the very popular breakfast team Amos, Cat and Angus and that’s just the tip of the auction item ice-berg.

The brain testing event is on Friday 20th July, get your tickets now.
