Spend the day weaving between the different venues sampling a little bit from each of their menus. This collaborative community experience begins at Indian restaurant Sauma, where foodies will whet their appetite with a Sunset Spritz and Tandoor roast chicken tikka, mint, pomegranate.

Bivouac will offer up Baby eggplant sabich, served with amba, tahini gribiche, herb and pickle salad, then cleanse the palate with a refreshing Mistelle Mule.

Then it’s across the road to No Mafia for Beetroot cured salmon with watercress, sea leaves and Campari, and an accompanying drop of Rosé.

After a short walk down William street, lunch-goers will arrive at Mexican joint La Cholita for a Mexican Lager or La Paloma, and Spicy duck taquitos, red onion, tomato, feta, avocado paste.

The roving lunch is capped off with Shadow Wine Bar’s dessert – Almond sponge, burnt butter creme and roasted grapes with an Amaro.

The William Street Long Lunch begins anytime between 11.30am – 1.00pm at Sauma. No bookings required, patrons can just stroll in and go at their own pace. 5 courses, 5 venues, $75 per person ($15 to be paid at each venue).

Between each course you could fit in a spot of shopping, a few extra drinks or sit and watch the world pass by.
