The program is part of the festival’s mission to connect with the communities and regions that they visit each year across Australia.

This year, Groovin the Moo have pledged to bring LGBTIQ+ safe spaces to their events in Wayville, Bendigo and Townsville. GTM will also be continuing their partnership with queer youth party collective HEAPS GAY to bring “glitter, good vibes, classic tunes and country drag” to Maitland, Canberra and Bunbury.

Bunbury’s festival will also be teaming up with mental health service Lamp Inc who will be running a Trailer Park Party out of their bus with body painting and games, the Powder Pen will be running a “retro Motel” where you can get primped and have the proceeds support Youth Focus mental health service and the gang from Bunbury Roller Derby will be taking over the cloak room.

This year’s GTM lineup includes some massive names from Australia and beyond including Regurgitator, Billie Eilish, Hermitude, MØ, Sofi Tukker, WAFIA and R&B icon Coolio.

Groovin The Moo takes over Bunbury on Saturday 11th May. Tickets and more information available from gtm.net.au
