Rumours that the queen of pop would perform at this year’s Eurovision event in Israel have now been confirmed.
Madonna will perform at the international song contest as a guest artist in Tel Aviv next month.
The superstar will reportedly perform two songs, including a new single from an as-yet unconfirmed new album – with a price tag of $1.3 million USD. Madonna will be the second US pop star to perform on the Eurovision stage, following Justin Timberlake’s appearance in 2016.
The contest will take place in the Israeli city this May, after the nation’s representative Netta took out the competition in Lisbon with her tune Toy.
This year’s showdown is just weeks away, and the 41 competing nations have locked down their entries to the competition – including our own Kate Miller-Heidke with her operatic pop bop Zero Gravity.
