If you’ve watched more than one Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers film in your life, if you know who Donald O’Connor is, and what goes with a top hat and tales – you’ll adore the old fashioned charm of The Tap Pack.

The show features a rotating cast of singers and dancers who share their love of the style of the Rat Pack and the history of tap dance through the ages.

The level of skills amongst these triple threat performers is impressive and through out the show they continuously provide equal doses of wonder and comedy. While the show includes some of the most iconic songs from Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra, it also includes many modern hits creating an intriguing juxtapose of different eras.

Highlights of the performance is Jordan Pollard’s drumming and tapping combination, as well has his homage to performers of the past including Sammy Davis Jnr, Astaire and Rodgers and Gene Kelly. Thomas J Egan delivers an impressive freestyler tap improvisation, while Sean Mulligan mesmerises with his rendition of One For My Baby (and one more for the road).

The fast paced show sees a great combination of music, dance, comedy and spectacle. Whether the boys are juggling beer bottles, throwing canes through the air, cracking jokes, or tapping and banging on every surface in sight, it’s a mountain of entertainment, laughs and wonder.

The Tap Pack second show is at The Regal Theatre on Saturday 6th July 2019
