TV industry website TV Tonight is reporting that Neighbours favourite Stephanie McIntosh might be rejoining the long running soap opera.

McIntosh played the popular character Sky Mangel from 2003-2007, and returned briefly in 2015 for the show’s 30th anniversary celebrations. The show has recently seen a spate of former characters returning for short guest appearances.

McIntosh is the daughter of journalist Sue McIntosh, who was previously married to another Neighbours actor Terence Donovan. Her half-brother Jason Donovan is also a Neighbours alumni, and his daughter Jemma Donovan is  also currently appearing on the show.

When she was first on Neighbours McIntosh also launched a pop career, following in the footsteps of her half brother Jason, Kylie Minogue, Craig Mclachlan, Stefan Dennis, The Twins, Delta Goodrem and Holly Valance.

Her 2006 album Tightrope was a big hit in Australia but she’s never released any music since that initial output.

Since she’s been away from the spotlight McIntosh has spent her time raising her two daughters with her partner landscape designer Peter Hieatt.
