WALK is led by Bobby, your shimmering, battle fatigued guide. Learning to let go of past ghosts, Bobby discovers what it means to be free in their body and walk into their power.

WALK promises an immersive dreamlike experience. Journey through Bobby’s mindscape built across two spaces; one that is sweet to smell and blanketed with clouds so close you can reach out and touch, and the other is dark, gleaming, and cavernous.

Performance maker Bobby Russell is an experimental artist, with a BA in Dance from WAAPA. Fusing performance styles and art forms, Russell is inspired by 80s sci-fi, 70s horror and David Lynch’s iconic series Twin Peaks.

WALK is a collaboration between Russell (MoveMoveMove, Perth Festival), set/sculpture designer and trans non-binary artist Opie Robinson (Gassed Up, Cool Change), lighting by Joe Lui (The Ugly), and sound by Peter McAvan (Midnight Elevator Records), WALK playfully intersect sculpture, design, and choreography.

WALK will be at The Blue Room Theatre from July 14 – 30. For more info head to blueroom.org.au
