Single Salvation

There’s a time and place for sourcing your new love on the internet, but Tuesday nights just isn’t it. From July 10, The Court Hotel is throwing a weekly party for the not-desperate-but-dateless (desperate? oh puh-lease, we’re fabulous) every Tuesday night.

The Court’s Bree Maddox told OUTinPerth ‘Courtship was conceived in response to numerous requests from our patrons. There will be speed dating, dating games, prizes and more. Shimmer is hosting the night, and it’s going to be heaps of fun.’

According to Ms Maddox, the new night is but one of many from Court’s smorgasbord of new events. She added that ‘We’d love the gay and lesbian community to support this night and give us some feedback or ideas for future nights.’ Other upcoming events include ‘Unite’ on Thursdays, which hosted by Lady Tia, will include drag shows, a BBQ and will also be raising money for community groups and charities.

Courtship will be the only gay and lesbian singles night in the village, but because Tuesday only comes once a week, anyone attending Courtship will receive 25% off GayMatchMaker or Lesbian MatchMaker to provide light relief while screening all the phone calls pouring in from your new hot dates (unless, of course, you’re still on dial up…) For more info: www.thecourt.com.au
