A new LGBTIQ+ youth space is coming to Midland

A new space for young LGBTIQ+ people is set to open in Midland next week, providing a place to connect with the queer community.

City of Swan, headspace Midland, Rise Network and Youth Focus will be hosting the space every fortnight for young people aged 12 – 25.

The team invite those interested to come along and connect over games, snacks and chats in a safe space, starting from September 3rd.

The space is also looking for a name, and the team are asking for help in developing one along with attendees.

LGBTIQA+ Safe Space begins on Tuesday 3rd September at Midland Junction Arts Centre. For more information head to Eventbrite.
