Bears Perth

What’s happening with the Bears over the coming Festive Season? Hibernation is over as summer is certainly now upon us. This was no more apparent than when we saw a magnificent sloth of Roman Bears marching through Northbridge recently. They left such an impression that they then became the first time winners in this year’s Pride Parade of the inaugural ‘Holly Wood Memorial Trophy for Most Entertaining Entry’.

As for what’s happening, summer is full of pool parties, hot summer den nights around the bar or on the verandah overlooking the city skyline from Loton Park Tennis Club and more. Our ‘End of Year’ Den Night is on this Saturday December 12th. Then on Sunday the 13th come join a sleuth of Bears as they gather for what is one of our biggest social events of the year, the Bears Perth Xmas Pool Party BBQ. It’s held at a venue that’s close to town. Santa will be making an appearance with gifts and good cheer for everyone and all are welcome.

As for the first Den Night for 2010, it is on Saturday January 9th; the next day another pool party and on Friday January 22nd we have our Australiana Den Night.

One last thing, keep your gaydar alert on for a special event that’s coming together for Bears Perth in late March. Check our website for updates and our ad on page 25 for any other details.

Now on behalf of Bears Perth, I’d like to wish you and yours a safe and very merry Christmas, with all the best to each of you for the coming year.

Big Hugz
