Their first book, You’ll Be a Wonderful Parent, was published in 2023 and celebrated rainbow families of all kinds. Their second book is dedicated to every child who knows in their bones there are good times to come.

Told from the perspective of a young child, this inclusive picture book is aimed at young readers and explores one of the few things that actually belong to them – their body. It is a celebration of bodies of all shapes and kinds, reinforcing that everyone is unique.

The colourful picture book fosters a sense of belonging from an early age, even as bodies grow and change. It encourages a sense of joy and allows young readers to feel at home in themselves.

While researching the book, Jasper held discussions with kindergarten teachers, wellbeing officers in primary schools, child psychologists and social workers, as well as their own two children, aged four and six.

“It is my deepest wish that readers of any age know they are exquisite, that they matter and they truly belong. That wherever they go, they have a body that has been there with them all along, loyal and true. That home is where they decide it to be.”
