Bingay Celebrates

Bingay CelebrateBingay, the outrageous gay bingo night will celebrate their second birthday this month. Here are five things we love about the craziest event on the queer calendar.

1. Story Time

We love it when host Hannah Conda selects one of the adult books that offered as prizes and decides to read it out loud to the audience. We’re not sure what we love the most, the expressions on Hannah’s face or the look of fear of someone in the audience who decided to bring their Mum their along.

2. Dummy Spitting

We’re so into the weekly dummy spitting competition. We’ve bought our own pacifiers and begun practicing in the office each day after lunch. Some of our writers can now spit a dummy across the width of the office. If you follow OUTinPerth on Snapchat, you’ll have seen our training sessions.

3. False Calls

How hard is it to mark off the right numbers? We crack up every time someone calls out Bingay, only to discover they’ve got the wrong numbers – how hard is it to get one line right?

4. Oversharing

If you’re up for a dose of drag queen gossip, Bingay is the place to find out about everyone’s adventures. No matter who is hosting you’ll hear some salacious tales of debauchery, embarrassment and bizarreness.

5. Boys Running Around With No Trousers

One of our favourite Bingay games is when they ask boys to head off on races around the room ‘sans trou’ – so many brands of underwear on display!

Bingay celebrates their Second Birthday with a special show on Easter Thursday April 17th. Bingay is on at Connections Nightclub every Thursday from 8:00pm
