Channing Tatum’s Magic Mike Live will make its Australian premiere with a new international touring production in Perth at Crown Theatre from 24 February 2027 before continuing to Adelaide from 7 April 2027 at Adelaide Festival Centre.
While the show carries the name of Hollywood actor Channing Tatum, he does not appear in the production. However, the live show he helped create and co-direct has enjoyed successful runs in Las Vegas and London.

The 90-minute stage production promises 360 degrees of live entertainment, featuring professional dance and acrobatics, live music, comedy and new performance routines designed to engage audiences.
“For years now, our team has tried to figure out how to bring the experience that millions of Magic Mike Live fans have witnessed at our residencies in London and Las Vegas to audiences in cities, large and small, around the world,” said Vincent Marini, Executive Producer of Magic Mike Live.
“It took the combined talents of every member of the creative team, but what we’ve ultimately created is one of the most unique and thrilling nights in theatre. The new Magic Mike Live tour is bigger and bolder than the original, with new music, reimagined choreography, inspired staging and a 360-degree production design. Whether you’re a longtime fan or simply curious about the phenomenon, this production offers a unique live entertainment experience.”

Brian Pereira, CEO of Crown Perth, said securing the Australian premiere was a major achievement for the venue.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing Magic Mike Live to Crown Perth and giving Western Australians the opportunity to experience the production before audiences elsewhere in the country. We are proud to help reinforce Perth’s growing reputation as a destination for world-class entertainment and hospitality.”

The production is led by Kalon Badenhorst as “Mike”, with Chelsea Lee Wheatley and Australia’s Julie Yamannee sharing the role of MC.
Joining them is Australia’s Kiana De Van Der Schueren, who returns to her home state of South Australia for the tour. Also featured are Mark Lace, a New Zealand-born dancer who studied and lived in Sydney before relocating to the United Kingdom; fellow New Zealander Taylor Diamond-Lord, now based in Melbourne; and Cameron Holland, who is currently based in London.
Magic Mike Live – The Tour will play Crown Theatre from 24 February 2027. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster at 9:30am AWST on Wednesday, 14 October.
