Comedy Shows Support for beyondblue

Famous_sharron_cropped_colouredShow your support for beyondblue by buying a ticket to ‘Stand Up! For Comedy’ this October.

For one night only the Perth Theatre Trust, His Majesty’s Theatre and Comedy Lounge have joined forces with leading Aussie charity beyondblue to fight back against depression and anxiety the best way they know how – with a bumper line up of stand up comedy.

The show will be hosted by Matt Dyktynski, star of films such as ‘Love and Other Catastrophes, TV series like ‘Shockjock and ‘Raw FM and who as a stand-up comic spent years based in London, becoming a regular on the highly demanding UK circuit, with gigs as far flung as Poland and Croatia.

Joining Matt will be Suns of Fred, three Perth lads who’ll hit the stage like a bra strap pulled back and released, a high-energy singing and dancing trio.

Add in a roll call of local talent including Janelle Koenig – who recently supported Joel Creasey, Famous Sharron (pictured) , Xavier Susai, David Tuffley, Brent and Perth’s youngest stand-up comic 17 year old Ciaran Lyons, with honorary West Aussie, the legendary Greg Fleet, and you have the best night of stand-up on offer.

All the profits will be going to beyondblue, what a great way to kick off WA Mental Health Week.

Head to Ticketek to secure your tickets or call 1300 795 012 or drop by in person at the venue box office.
