Crowded House – Time on Earth (Capitol)

It’s been awhile, 14 years to be more precise, since the boys from Crowded House got together and made an album. A lot has changed in that time – including the loss of band member Paul Hester (who was briefly known as ‘Paul the Chef’ on the Wiggles) in 2005 – but it’s well worth catching up with the Brothers Finn and Co. to listen to their latest collection of storytelling tracks. While much of the sound is the same, this isn’t the same young band that made it big in the 80s. Rather, this is Crowded House 20 years later as they explore the breadth and depth of two decades experience. All in all, fans will hope the band takes the advice of the Time on Earth’s first single: Don’t Stop Now. –Megan Smith
