A fan near the front of the stage asked Goulding if he could ask his partner a special question. Goulding stopped the concert and summoned the couple to the stage for a surprise announcement.

The crowd went wild for the proposal, much to the delight of the newly engaged couple.

Goulding even offered the pair their first engagement gift; in the form of a hug.
