Evelyn Glennie to Play at King’s Park

Evelyn GlennieDame Evelyn Glennie joins with Western Australian Symphony Orchestra for a percussive twist to the Symphony under the Stars concert on Saturday March 3.

Glennie is an internationally renowned percussionist, highly sought after for her vibrant and innovative performances. Described as performing visually spectacular shows, Glennie works to redefine the boundaries of percussion.

Special Guest conductor Brad Cohen leads Glennie and WASO in the performance of Copland’s Fanfare for common man, Maxwell Davies’ An Orkney Wedding with Sunrise and favourite with ice skating fans the world over, Ravel’s Bolero.

Tickets are from $40 through WASO.
