Fox News Contributor: 'Homosexual Impulses' Lead to Shootings

dr-robi-headshotFox News contributor Dr. Robi Ludwig has put forward her theory on what lead 22 year old Elliot Rodger to go on a mass murder spree in Santa Barbara on Friday night. Dr Ludwig thinks the killer was probably “fighting homosexual urges”.

Speaking on the news channel following the mass killing Dr Ludwig discussed the YouTube videos that Rodgers has posted and shared her insight into what may have lead the man to kill six people and injure sex others before taking his own life.

In his videos Rodgers shares his frustration that he’s still a virgin at 22 and blames women for unfairly rejecting him.

“When I was first listening to him, I was like, ‘Oh, he’s angry with women for rejecting him,'” Ludwig said. “Then I started to have a different idea: ‘Is this somebody who is trying to fight against his homosexual impulses?'”

“Was he angry with women because they were taking away men from him?”

Ludwig continues with her theory suggesting that Rodgers may have been angry at other men who had not chosen him and suggests that he may not have felt like a “real man”.

“Was he angry at the men for not choosing him?

“He probably felt rejected, he couldn’t connect, he couldn’t feel loved, he couldn’t feel successful. Maybe he couldn’t even feel like a real man.”
