Massive Attack featuring Tom Waits – Boots on the Ground

Aside from three tracks posted to YouTube in 2020, Massive Attack haven’t really put out any new music for over a decade. Now their suddenly back with this Tom Waits collaboration, and fans are hoping the band follow through with a new album. Their last full album Heligoland came out in 2010.

“It’s a career honour to collaborate with an artist of the magnitude, originality and integrity of Tom, but this track is arriving in an atmosphere of chaos. Across the western hemisphere, state authoritarianism and the militarisation of police forces are fusing again with neo-fascist politics. Seen within the American emergency, at home and overseas, this track contains pulses of callous impulse & abandoned mind.” the duo said.

HRVY – Lie to me

The UK’s HRVY is back with a new song that is laid back and charmingly sweet.

Pierre De Maere – Je pense à vous

Hailing from Belgium, Pierre De Maere says he’s prefers to be described as a “flamboyant” rather than queer. His new single sees him dancing up a storm down a suburban street, the title means “I think of you”.

Jordy – Dumb

When you see an artist named Jordy you have to wonder if he found it tough to be a baby? But no, this is not the French toddler behind the 90’s global smash Dur dur d’être bébé!. Instead this Jordy has found fame online and through a series of pop bops. He’s about to make his UK debut at the Mighty Hoopla, and is headlining some upcoming Pride festivals too.

Nick Hissom – Hot Boy Things

This new track from Nick Hissom came out a few weeks ago, and like Hissom’s previously offerings it’s more about the visuals than the music. Last year Hissom shared his tune Sexify that had a lot of auto-tune and his video that showed off his physique. Hissom is the step son of casino billionaire Steve Wynn.
