GAYWATCH! It’s official…Surf Lifesavers Float!

For the first time Sydney’s Mardi Gras will see a surf lifesavers float in the Parade. 2007 is the national Year of the Surf Life Saver and by bringing surf and sand to the street party of the year Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) and Sydeney New Mardi Gras will riding the same wave. SLSA sees New Mardi Gras as a great ‘opportunity to highlight the organisation’s diversity and deliver key beach safety messages’. So look out for an extra splurge of red and yellow in the rainbow!
