A new TV show kicks off last on ABC, ‘Hatch, Match and Dispatch’ is a documentary series all births, marriages and deaths.

One of the people featured in the first episode is Sydney based gender activist Norrie. Back in 2014 Norrie made headline for becoming the first person in Australia to be declared as sex non-specific, meaning that Norrie is legally recognised as being neither male or female.

When Norrie and partner Sam want to get married though, they are no able to. Australia’s marriage laws that declare marriage only to between a man and a woman stand in the way. Norrie can not marry anyone, male or female.

Also in this episode 22-year-old Jared is head-over-heels in love with his pregnant bride-to-be, Renee. Are they ready for marriage & parenthood?

While having been told she was adopted just days before her mum died, Pauline is searching for her birth mother.
