Head to a rally for marriage equality this weekend

Show your support for marriage equality this weekend by attending a rally for the cause.

Equal Love WA’s Freo Says Yes! event is on today from 1pm. The rally is being held in Pioneer Park in Fremantle, near Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, across the road from the Fremantle Train Station.

There will be speeches, a march and entertainment from local bands. On the bill is Western Kinsmen of the Sun, Spacey Jane, Tanu Hudson, Ella Munro, Mirrors at the Arcade, Noah Young and Band, Kai Schweizer and Rainbow Revolt.

Tonight Connections Nightclub stages their Love is Love event, a fundraiser for Australian Marriage Equality.

Tomorrow there will be a rally in Hyde Park. The Bring it On! Snap Action is organised by The Greens, bring a picnic, bring your dog, come down and show some support.
