Hit comedy ‘Hacks’ returns for fifth and final season this April

The hilarious (and very queer) comedy Hacks will take its final bow with its fifth season this year.

Following greatly exaggerated reports of her death, comedy icon Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) is forced to rebuild her reputation and secure her legacy as one of the greats.

Young writer Ava Daniels (Hannah Einbinder), while navigating the perpetual mess of her own life, is right by Deborah’s side – provided they can keep their professional and personal relationship together.

Returning cast members include comedian and series creator Paul W Downs, the hilarious Meg Stalter, Kaitlin Olson, Johnny Sibilly, Rose Abdoo, Mark Indelicato and Carl Clemons-Hopkins.

Christopher Briney, Leslie Bibb, Cherry Jones and Ann Dowd have all signed up for the final season, and the trailer shows RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Katya will also make an appearance.

Check out the trailer below. Hacks returns April 10 on Stan.
