Italian Nun Covers 'Like a Virgin'

4705208_CD_6_4COL‘The Voice’ is now screening is just about every country in the world. Here in Australia Anja Nissen was the winner – but over in Italy their winner is far more intriguing.

Sister Cristina is a real life nun and she became an overnight sensation in Italy when she performed Alicia Keyes hit ‘No One’ on Italy’s version of ‘The Voice’.

She went on to win the series and has just released her debut album, her first single – a cover of Madonna’s ‘Like a Virgin’.

Also on the singing nun’s debut album is her take on Cyndi Lauper’s ‘True Colours’, Coldplay’s ‘Fix You’, Keane’s ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ and Jessie J’s ‘Price Tag’.
