With more than 55 shows and 200 performers, the festival will showcase WA’s best emerging and established jazz talents across fabulous venues like His Majesty’s Theatre, The Sewing Room, The InterContinental Perth City Centre Hotel, Cheeky Sparrow and Prince Lane.

WAYJO General Manager Simon Keen says it’s exciting to be staging the second-coming of the festival.

“Last year’s debut festival was a huge success and this year we’ve got more shows plus new venues such as Cheeky Sparrow and Prince Lane,” Keen said.

“King Street Corner Pocket Festival has something for everyone with big band jazz, intimate duos and trios, and some of the best emerging jazz artists Perth has to offer.”

“Featuring artists include WAYJO’s popular Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Night Orchestras plus fabulous locals such as up and comers Demon Days, Fat Sparrow’s final ever gig, and an album launch from Harry Mitchell’s Trio.”

Other artists featured at the festival are the Gemma Farrell Quintet, Kohesia, Libby Hammer, Perth Cabaret Collective, The Love Rats and TRISK.

The King Street Corner Pocket Jazz Festival runs from 4th – 6th of July. For tickets and more information head to ptt.wa.gov.au
