The L Word might be back

Popular television show The L Word might be making a return to our screens. Reports suggest a new series is in development.

Co-creator of the series Ilene Chaiken is apparently back on board as an executive producer for the new edition of the series, and many of the original cast members are ready to make a return.

Entertainment Weekly has suggested that Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moenig and Leisha Hailey will be returning and will also add Executive Producer to their credits.

The show made its debut in 2004 and ran for six seasons. Many fans have expressed their frustration that the identity of who murders one of the central characters in the show’s final season was never truly revealed.

Recently a bucket load of much loved television programs from the past have leaped back into production including Full House, The X-Files, Twin Peaks and The Gilmore Girls. TV sitcom Roseanne is set to make a return as is Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.
