Fans got excited recently when the singer shared a photo from the studio, but it seems La Roux’s latest project is much further along than first anticipated, the new album Supervision will be out on 7th February 2020.

In an interview with Dazed and Confused Elly Jackson reveals the many reasons fans have been waiting for so long for new music. She shares that over the last few years she suffered with problems with her voice, and also had to deal with anxiety and other mental health challenges.

After spending three years working on her third album, she discarded all the work she’d done and started all over again.  After jettisoning years of work, it took just three months for the project to come together.

Once the album is out La Roux will be heading off on tour taking in both Europe and the United States.
