March in May Anti-Budget Protest

Crowds of people came together to protest against the Abbott government following the release of the 2014 budget on Sunday May 18th. People of all every imaginable age and background took part in the march, which stretched over the entirety of Northbridge’s horseshoe bridge on its way into the centre of the city. A large number of protesters were in attendance, with some estimates reaching over 2000.
