Miley Can't Stop… Her mouth!

Miley CyrusMiley Cyrus let her tongue hang out on a recent trip to Germany, and not like in her controversial video We Can’t Stop.

Local photographers capturing Cyrus’ arrival where asked by the pop-star, “Are there any good German trannies? Are there any good German tranny bars?” With no answer she clarifies with “Tranny bars like guys, guys as girls”.

Lyrically claiming she can say want she wants is no excuse for Cyrus who mustn’t have done her PC homework on discriminatory terms for the trans* community. Here’s a tip, don’t say tranny, ever. Though likely referring to a bar with drag shows (we can only assume) platinum blonde

Cyrus put her foot right back in her mouth in a later interview asking about the local scene “We want to go somewhere weird. We want to go to a weird-ass club.” Oh, we get it… Like a ‘tranny bar’?

We said ‘ok’ when Miley did away with the Disney gig. We said ‘hell yeah’ when Miley couldn’t wait to see us again. We even forgave her for having sexual relations with a mattress and licking a doll version of herself. But hell to the no for disrespecting!

This isn’t the first time a celebrity has slipped the offensive slur. Back in 2011, Kelly Osbourne slammed her ex for dating a “tranny”. After a severe backlash, Osbourne publicly apologised to the trans* community saying,

“As a lifelong LGBT ally and friend, I feel it is my duty to not only apologize for my wrong but to also correct it. The word “tr*nny” is a derogatory and hurtful word. I was completely ignorant to this and soon came to realize most of my peers and LGBT friends are, too. This is a word I will no longer use or allow.”

Osbourne has since appeared as a guest judge on popular reality show Rupaul’s Drag Race as has her mum Sharon. Both also publicly speak for equality rights at Pride events and celebrations.

Miley clearly has a lot to learn despite previously being openly supportive of the queer community but maybe this is the star’s way of saying she really can’t be tamed? Every rose has it’s thorn but when all is said done Lesley did warn, “Oh she’s just being Miley”.
