A new exhibition from artist Holly O’Meehan opens this week at Paper Mountain. Elusive Tactility features works that combine crochet and ceramics.
The artist’s functionless vessels are described as “asking more questions than they answer in a whimsical dialectic between form and lack of function.”
Holly graduated in 2013 with a BA in Fine Art and Art & Design from Curtin University, Perth. She has since developed her own art practice, exhibiting work in several group shows, art awards and participating in several residences across Western Australia and India.
Her exhibition opens 12 January, 6-8pm at Paper Mountain in Northbridge. A free artist talk is being held 13 January 1-2pm, which will be followed by a three-hour artist workshop from 2-5pm. The exhibition will run until 28 January.
