Nick Jonas Signs Up for Mardi Gras

Nick Jonas - Jealous 4 (B&W)Nick Jonas will be joining the Mardi Gras party! The recording artist and actor will be heading down under to perform at the annual Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Party on Saturday 7 March.

Jonas has just scored a big hit on US radio with his track ‘Jealous’ from his self-titled album. His solo career comes after his long running success in The Jonas Brothers alongside his two siblings. Jonas also also found success with an acting career. He currently stars in the US series ‘Kingdom’.

Also joining he Mardi Gras party will be Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears. Shears will be joined on stage by global drag superstar and Mardi Gras’ Global Ambassador, Courtney Act for a special performance,

Jessica Mauboy will be also performing at the Mardi Gras Party with fabulous and fierce drag superstar Destiny Haz Arrived. Following on from her incredible Eurovision and Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony performances last year Jessica will take to the stage to perform a specially created performance with Destiny.

Last year she supported Katy Perry on her Australian tour and now Betty Who is getting ready to rock Mardi Gras! The Aussie starlet based in New York shot to stardom when her song ‘Somebody Loves You’ featured in a YouTube proposal video that went viral.

A whole stack of world-renowned DJs have already been announced for the Mardi Gras Party line up and include: David Morales, Paul Mac, Bent Collective, Wayne G, DJ Grind, DJ Sammy Jo, JD Samson, The Carry Nation, Kitty Glitter and Dan Murphy.
