On the cover of this edition is actor Keegan Joyce who discusses his role as Arnold on the TV comedy Please Like Me. The fourth season of Josh Thomas’ award winning show returns to ABCTV in early November. We also chat to Keegan’s cast mate Hannah Gadsby who is heading to Perth to perform at ARTBAR.

We also catch up with musicians Abbe May, Clare Bowditch and local band Joni in the Moon about their upcoming shows at the Fremantle Festival.

Author Bill Clader tells us about his new book Pink Ink: The Golden Era for Gay and Lesbian Publishers. Bill shares with us the history of gay and lesbian publishing across Australia and reveals to us what is considered to be the first LGBTI publication in WA.

We mark the 25th anniversary of the Gus van Sant film My Own Private Idaho. Kyle J Kash writes about seeing the film for the first time in 2016, while Graeme Watson recalls what it was like seeing the movie when it first came out in 1991.

Plus there’s news about TransTastic, Gutenberg the Musical, Tartuffe, opera The Pearl Fishers and Pride WA outlines why Fairday is in doubt in 2017.

Pick up the magazine this weekend or read it online
