Pride WA announce 2026 Fairday and Pride Parade dates

Pride WA have announced the dates for the 2026 Pride Fairday and the Pride Parade, revealing that one of their landmark events is moving to a new location.

The popular Fairday community event will be held on Sunday 8 November, and the event is moving to a new home at Moort-ak Waadiny – Wellington Square.

The relocation is attributed to major works being conducted at Supreme Court Gardens where the event has been staged for the last few years, but Pride WA says the new location also responds to community feedback about wanting more shade, and children’s facilities.

The day promises to be filled with entertainment, LGBTQIA+ community stallholders, and the famous Fairday Dog Show.

“Moort‑ak Waadiny means a place of family gathering – a perfect place for our community, our chosen family, to come together.” Pride WA said announcing the move. “Moort‑ak Waadiny offers the space, accessibility, and community‑centred environment that Fairday deserves. It allows us to welcome our community in a setting that reflects connection and belonging.

Over the decades Fairday has been held in many different locations including Russel Square, Weld Square, and Hyde Park.

The Pride Parade through the streets of Northbridge will be held on Saturday 28 November.

Pride WA said it would be a chance to march, dance, and celebrate at the historic parade and come together in solidarity and celebration of the LGBTQIA+ communities. The free PrideFest Parade After Party, proudly presented by the City of Perth, will be held in Russell Square.

Dates for apply to be involved in both events will be released in due course. The dates of key events has been made eight months ahead of the big days and nights giving everyone time to book leave, organise pet sitters and baby sitters, and plan their outfits.
