On The Line: Julian Clary

Julian Clary 2For the August edition of OUTinPerth we had a natter with British comedy icon, Julian Clary.

Performing his camp comedy since the 80’s, Clary has had a long and successful career touring the fringe festivals of the world and won a whole new generation of fans taking out the title of Celebrity Big Brother in 2012.

Clary tells Graeme Watson about being a very camp five-year-old, living in a castle once owned by a gay theatre icon and the art of innuendo.

Julian Clary ‘The Joy of Mincing’ is the Astor Theatre on Monday 12 September, tickets are available from Ticketmaster.

You can also listen to last month’s edition of On The Line with chatty man Alan Carr here.
