‘Moonlight’ hot off it’s win for Best Drama Picture at the Golden Globes picked up four nominations. It’s in the running for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Mahershala Ali, Best Supporting Actress for Naomie Harris, and Best Original Screenplay.

The film’s director, Barry Jenkins, missed out on a nomination in the Best Director category.

The Pass, a film in which Russell Tovey and Arinzé Kene play young footballers who share a room before a big match, picked up two nominations. Writer John Donnelly and Director Ben A. Williams are both nominated in the Outstanding Debut category.

La La Land remains the front runner for Oscar glory. The romantic musical comedy staring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling picked up the most nominations with eleven.

The awards will be held on Sunday February 12 at The Royal Albert Hall in London. Stephen Fry will host the ceremony for the twelfth time.
