Punch Brothers

Unbound by notions of genre, Punch Brothers’ collaborative, porous approach to music making results in an extraordinary and dynamic performance that is laced with breathless motion and humour.

The unique combination of mandolin (Chris Thile), guitar (Chris Eldridge), bass (Paul Kowert), banjo (Noam Pikelny) and violin (Gabe Witcher) is an inspiring sound that inhabits a unique space across the indie rock, folk, jazz, bluegrass, and classical music genres.

The band’s distinct sound has resonated across world tours and numerous album releases, including their most recent 2015 album release, produced by the legendary T Bone Burnett himself, The Phosphorescent Blues. The album received three Grammy Award nominations in 2015.

Punch Brothers perform in Perth for one night only on Monday. OUTinPerth has three double passes to giveaway to see the show. Head to the giveaways page to enter.

Punch Brothers are performing at Riverside Theatre at the Perth Convention Centre on Monday. Tickets are available from Ticketek.
