Beau Heartbreaker is a very simple and very intimate show. In the tiny DeLuxe tent at The Pleasure Garden, this show is up close and personal.
Beau takes to the stage and with his guitar weaves a series of tales punctuated by some beautiful songs. Beau shares his experiences of growing up in the country, his family are diary people and life is pretty simple.
Yearning to see the wider world and find a place where he fits in Beau shares his epxeriences of traveling to Mongolia and then returning home to life on the farm.
This sweet, and beautifully twee tale is simple and elegant. It builds up to a crescendo that is not entirely what you expect it’s going to be.
While Beau Heartbreaker is not the most complex show in the festival, it has a lot of heart and it’s beauty is in it’s simplicity. The singing and the songs are a cut above.
Beau Heartbreaker is on the DeLuxe Tent in the Pleasure Garden at 6:15pm, the final show’s of Fringe World are today. Get tickets at Fringe World.
