Rockin Cirq shakes up Perth City Farm

Beehives Go Go DancersIn the wake of closures of some of Perth’s most cherished entertainment venues over the past months, Wonderland Entertainment are here to fill the void with a one night multi-arts extravaganza at Perth City Farm.

Rockin Cirq has brought together a top selection of Perth’s rock & roll along with some of the most extraordinary circus performers for an immersive night of fun with a bunch of self-professed ‘carni-noise-freaks’.

The Caballeros will headline the musical portion with a debut of their upcoming release ‘Ladies and Gentlemen: The Caballeros’. Performing alongside will be street brass collective Junkadelic and 60s surf rockers Thee Gold Blooms.

Ivana B Serious and Reverend Butcher are set to dazzle with fire twirling and sideshow stunts for your nerves, while the Beehives (pictured) and ringmaster Magnus Danger Magnus keep the evening flowing with go-go dancing and comedy.

The student run event has been organized “to show that multi-arts events aren’t limited to certain seasons like Fringe or Perth International Arts Festival”, organized Ashleigh Allis-Crofts told OUTinPerth. “There are spaces in Perth that can handle a crowd and there is always demand for multi-arts events”.

Rockin Cirq at Perth City Farm kicks off from 6pm, Saturday 13 June. Tickets available from Eventbrite.com.au
