Sandi Toksvig and Partner to Renew Vows

Sandi ToksvigSame sex marriages will begin in Britain this Saturday and comedian and broadcaster Sandi Toksvig is set to mark the occasion by renewing her vows with her partner Debbie is a very public location.

The couple will renew their vows in front of a large crowd of people at the Southbank Centre in London.

The couple will be joined by their four children and there will be performances from the London Gay Men’s Chorus, musician Rik Wakeman and ‘We Will Rock You’ star Sharon D Clarke.

“This is a joyous occasion which Debbie and I look forward to celebrating with old and new friends. It is a public statement of pride in our love and thanks to all those who have campaigned for equality over many years,” Toksvig said.

The couple previously declared their love via a Civil Partnership seven years ago.
