Those who can’t wait until October for when Pride (and sunshine) return to Perth, head north to lend support to Darwin and Brisbane Pride Festivals and bask in their superior winter sun. Darwin (May 25-June 11) takes up the theme Fruits and Frangipanis. While Darwin’s Fairday was May 26th, the Dance Party is at the Gardens Golf Club on June 10th. Further east, Brisbane (June 1-16) celebrates the theme ‘Pride not Prejudice’. The Brisbane Fair Day and Pride party is Friday June 16.
