The Hunting Wives, based on the bestselling novel by May Cobb, returns for season two, starring Brittany Snow and Malin Åkerman.
Season one followed Sophie O’Neil (Snow), who moved her family from Boston to Texas. There, she grew close to socialite Margo Banks (Åkerman), drawn into her wealthy, decadent world, falling for her charm and consumed by obsession, seduction and murder.
With Sophie and Margo ending season one on the outs, season two will see old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters or the hunted?
Season two will welcome back much of the original cast, including Dermot Mulroney (Jed Banks, oil tycoon and Margo’s husband), whose political aspirations are only surpassed by his scandalous behaviour.
Also returning are Jamie Ray Newman (Callie, Margo’s fiercely loyal sidekick), Evan Jonigkeit (Sophie’s husband, Graham), and George Ferrier (as Brad).
Back as series regulars are Karen Rodriguez (Deputy Salazar) and Hunter Emery (Deputy Flynn), alongside guest star Branton Box (Sheriff Jonny, Callie’s husband).
Maple Brook newcomers joining the cast include John Stamos (Palm Royale, Big Shot) as Chase Brylan, Dale Dickey (Winter’s Bone, True Blood, Widow’s Bay) as Zelda Moffitt, Cam Gigandet (Violent Night, Burlesque) as Gentle John Moffitt, Kim Matula (Saturday Night, LA to Vegas) as Nadia Kelly, Australian actor Alex FitzAlan as Lincoln Trout, who recently starred in the Stan Original The F Ward and Angel Reese, the two-time WNBA All-Star who will star as Trainer Barbie.
The Hunting Wives returns for a new season on November 26 on Stan.
