Tkay Maidza 1

The lineup for next year’s Southbound festival has been announced, and it looks pretty exciting. Although there are still more artists to be announced, without further ado, here are the acts so far:

Alison Wonderland, Alt-J, The Black Lips, Bluejuice, Cold War Kids, DMA’s, George Ezra, Glass Animals, Jagwar Ma, Jamie XX, Joey Bada$$, John Butler Trio, Kim Churchill, The Kite String Tangle, Milky Chance, Movement, The Presets, Remi, Robyn and Röyksopp, Run the Jewels, Salt N Pepa, SBTRKT live, Spiderbait, Sticky Fingers, The Temper Trap, Tkay Maidza, Todd Terje, Tycho, Vance Joy and Wolf Alice.

There are a lot of awesome artists in the lineup perhaps most notably Salt N Pepa, iconic hip hop sorceresses whose legacy shall live on forever. How could anyone ever go past this:

Speaking of awesome lady hip hop, there’s Adelaide’s own Tkay Maidza, who just recently released a new video for her song Uh-Huh, which has been getting a lot of love on the radio lately.

This is also one of your last chances to see Aussie band Bluejuice, as they have recently announced they’ll be calling it quits after their upcoming crop of gigs.

The druids that organise Southbound have also announced that at next year’s festival you’ll have the opportunity to camp next to your car. It’ll be just like drive-in movies, except Salt N Pepa will be there for real!

Tickets go on sale on Tuesday August 26th from moshtix
