STARGATE SG-1 (Thurs Oct 25, Seven-11:50pm)

New season of the excellent sci-fi series spawned from the same-named film of the mid-Nineties, which itself spawned the more visually flashy (and gayer!) STARGATE: ATLANTIS. SG-1 continues the story of a series of mysterious alien gates that can transport people to points all over the cosmos, and the intrepid Earth scientists/soldiers who cross the gates, boldly looking for new worlds and new civilization…Sorry, wrong franchise! Whatever. This is a neat little series, with several hot guys and girls involved, including newcomer Ben Browder (the broody hunk from the way too Muppety FARSCAPE) and X Files’ Mitch Pileggi, whom appears to have aged 40 years since his days as Skinner. The team need to plan a trip through the Botox Gate!!
