Surprise engagement at hit92.9's RnB Fridays Live

There was massive crowd at NIB stadium on Saturday night for Hit92.9’s RnB Fridays Live. The show featured some of the hottest old school RnB acts including Craig David, Sean Paul, Mario, Kelly Rowland and Ne-Yo, but for two people in particular, the night meant so much more.

Breakfast team Heidi, Will & Woody announced last week that someone was getting proposed to at RnB Fridays Live, but concert-goer Krystle had no idea it was going to be her and that her girlfriend, Rhy, was planning a huge public declaration of love.

Under the impression she had won a competition to get a selfie on stage with Fatman Scoop and Heidi, Will & Woody, Krystle stepped up in front of the massive crowd with no idea her world was about to change.

Rhy took over the microphone and proudly announced that she loves her girlfriend “to the moon and back, ten times over,” before dropping to her knee and asking the love of her life to marry her. The crowd erupted into cheers and Krystle began to cry.

The good news is she said Yes!

Kelly Rowland congratulated the couple before she entered the stage declaring her support of same-sex marriage.

Check out the magical moment.
