The Celebrity Traitors reveal the cast for series 2

The Celebrity Traitors was a huge hit last year, not only in the UK bit around the globe. Now the cast for the second series has been revealed with some huge names heading to the Scottish castle.

Twenty-one famous faces will head to The Traitors castle, ready to play the ultimate game of deception and betrayal in the hope of winning a cash prize of up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the first celebrity series saw unexpected traitor Alan Carr successfully avoid capture from his celebrity colleagues. There have been reports that a lot of famous names were hesitant to join the show for its first series, but now its been a whopping hit their lining up to be a part of it.

Actors Richard E. Grant, Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart and Bella Ramsey are in the cast, as are comedians James Acaster, Joe Lycett, Rob Beckett, Joanne McNally  and Romesh Ranganathan.

Sebastian Croft, who appeared in the TV series Heartstopper and who has recently launched a music career will be there, as will Your Beautiful hitmaker James Blunt.

Model and actor Jerry Hall has signed on, she used to be married to Mick Jager, and more recently Rupert Murdoch. You’ll also find actors Sharon Rooney, Ross Kemp, Myha’la, and Julie Hesmondhalgh.

Broadcasters Amol Rajan, Maya Jama, Professor Hannah Fry are onboard, and the cast is rounded out by content creator King Kenny and singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

There’s no date yet for when the show will air, it’s currently slated as “later in 2026”. The first season aired last October.

Before we head back to the Scottish Castle, Australian audiences are likely to first take a trip to New Zealand for a new version of the Australian edition of the show. It’s been revamped with Gretel Killeen signing on to be the host.
