Rob Garza and Eric Hilton have spent over two decades crafting their own archetype of electronic music that draws influences from Jamaican Dub, Afro-Beat, trip hop, acid Jazz, Middle Eastern, Indian, New York Tones music and more.

Their most recent album The Temple of I & I has been a critics favourite, it’s an album that draws inspiration from Jamaica creating reggae rhythms intertwined with psychedelic dub moments.

Throughout their career Thievery Corporation have released their own original music alongside several DJ compilations. Their best known tunes include Lebanese Blonde, The Richest Man in Babylon and The Hearts a Lonely Hunter.

The bossa nova kings will be touring with a full band and Perth is the first stop on their Australian itinerary. The last time they played in Perth, as part of the Perth International Arts Festival, fans had high praise for their live performance.

They’ll play Metro City on Thursday 8 March 2018, followed by a show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday 10 March, Melboure’s The Forum on Sunday 11 March and finally a show at The Tivoli in Brisbane on Wednesday 14 March.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on 20 October.
