Thomas Headon has announced he’ll be touring the nation this April and May, including shows in Sydney and Melbourne, plus his first ever performances in Brisbane and Perth.
Headon’s new EP Victoria is set for release next Friday 11th March, but you can get tickets to his shows from Monday 7th March.
With his first two EPs reaching over 40 million streams and a fanbase of more than 400K on TikTok and 100K+ on Instagram, Headon’s intimate, diary entry-esque songwriting has made the former busker one of the hottest new acts on the planet.
Last year he teamed up with queer artist G-Flip for the song Not Even in Vegas.
Returning for his second tour down under, Headon will also appear on the line-up of the just-announced Groovin The Moo festival.
“I really like playing live, where all the attention is,” Headon said in a statement announcing his new dates. “The fun part is meeting people afterwards, I know the feeling of meeting your favourite person, I just can’t believe I’m that for other people.”
He’ll kick off the tour in Perth with a show at Jack Rabbit Slim’s on Thursday 21st April, before taking in Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Tuesday 26th April, Brisbane venue The Zoo on Thursday 28th April, and finally at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Sunday 1st May.
Tickets to the general public will then go on sale Monday 7 March (11am local time) via frontiertouring.com/thomasheadon.
Headon’s new EP Victoria is scheduled for release on Friday 11th March. Featuring five tracks including Nobody Has To Know, Strawberry Kisses and How Do I Know, Headon reckons his latest songs are all about channeling honest memories, and evoking the euphoria of first-time love.
